The book includes a comprehensive Index that has, in itself, been thoroughly researched to include additional useful information.

Where known, the full names of each driver, engineer, designer, mechanic and significant person are stated, as is their date of birth and, where appropriate, date of death. Some of these details have never previously been published, and are the result of painstaking research into genealogical records.
